It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Joseph (Joe) Chaput announces his passing on November 2, 2025, at the age of 75.
Born on October 25, 1950, Joe lived a life filled with laughter, adventure, and love. After a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer, he passed peacefully surrounded by family.
Joe will be profoundly missed by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; his devoted children, Luke (Barb) and Julie (Jeff), and his beloved grandchildren, Lucas, Avery, William, and Braylon, who brought endless joy and light into his life.
He is also survived by his sisters, Lorraine (Roger), Jacquie (Ross), and Mandy, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
Joe enjoyed a long and rewarding career with Manitoba Hydro, retiring after 35 years of service. His work took him across the province - from the North to the South - and even overseas, where he made lifelong friends and memories.

Joe will be remembered for his quick wit, colorful sense of humor, and the warmth he brought to every gathering. His love of family, hard work, and simple joys will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Ducks Unlimited.

We knew Joey through my father-in-law Real. Got to know him over the last twenty five years or so. I always looked forward to seeing him strolling around my work or running into him at Timmies. A genuinely funny guy who always put a smile on faces around him. We'll miss seeing him. Our condolences to Sharon and his friends and family - Posted by: Karl and Marie (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2025
