RICHARD MILNE
Richard Glen Milne, aged 66, passed away peacefully at home in Brandon, Manitoba on Monday, November 3, 2025.
He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, April Milne and Crystal (Joel) Janzen; his cherished grandchildren, Evey, Grace, and Ember; and his former wife, Cathy Milne. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Zoey, his constant companion.
Rick grew up in Brandon’s south end with his five siblings and parents, Ruth and James Milne. From a young age, he developed a love for hockey and built many lasting friendships through the sport.
At just 17 years old, Rick began his career with the Canadian Pacific Railway, where he proudly worked for 35 years. He was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and loyalty to his crew.
Outside of work, Rick loved spending time at the lake—boating, fishing, and camping with family and friends. These were the moments he treasured most.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2026 to honor and remember Rick.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick’s memory may be made to a local animal rescue or shelter, reflecting his lifelong love of animals, especially dogs.
