LARRY MANN

July 8, 1961 - October 30, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Larry on October 30, 2025, at the age of 64.

Larry is survived by his wife Diane; son Michael; daughter Ashlee (Scott); grandchildren, Evan, Cole, Brooke, Olivia and Nixon and their mother Victoria; sisters, Connie and Tracey and their families; sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Glenn Snowdon and their family; uncle and dear friend Al O’Grodnik and many more extended family members. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Brenda and Joseph Mann, siblings, Michele, Lori and Don.

Diane and Larry met in 1980 and married in 1986. They welcomed their children, Ashlee and Michael, and the family remained close all these years, creating great memories together. We were truly blessed.

Larry enjoyed a career in many aspects of the moving industry, from owner operator, sales and operations. He loved his fishing trips, especially to The Pas and visiting the Snowdon family. He spent many great summers at Lilac Resort and Victoria Beach. Anywhere outdoors was where he wanted to be.

His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved their visits and surprising them with all the classic toys he could find.

Music was always on everywhere he went, and you could usually find him singing and rocking to his favourite classic rock songs.

He loved cheering on the Bombers and Jets. He enjoyed many good times with his best friends who were like family. Larry had a hearty laugh and could talk to anyone. He made an impact on so many people.

We would like to give thanks to his close friends who provided companionship, laughs and support over the years, Al O’Grodnik, Glenn and Sharon Snowdon, Roy and Cathy Clements, John and Lyn Hyde, Rob and Dawn Hazlett, Earl and Jane Craig, Joanne Hazlett and many more. The family would like to thank Dr. MacMillan and Rhonda for their many years of care and friendship. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Health Sciences Centre who compassionately cared for Larry in the last couple of weeks. Thank you to our forever friend Nancy Lambert, who selflessly donated her kidney to Larry in 2010. We are so grateful for the gift of life you gave him and the special friendship and bond you both shared.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at the Nor Villa Hotel, located at 1763 Henderson Hwy. Please wear your Bomber or Jets attire if you can as we celebrate. An open mic will be available if you would like to share a story or memory.

As Larry loved his dogs, donations in his memory may be made to Spirit of Hope Dog Rescue.
