It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our great husband and father on November 5, 2025, at the Grace Hospital.
Wayne was born in Carberry, Manitoba on May 29, 1940, where he lived for five years before moving to Winnipeg. He worked at Manitoba Hydro for 27 years.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, John and Lily, his oldest son, Curtis at 26 years old in 1986, and son Myles at 53 years old in 2019, and his oldest brother, Harry in 2024 and brother Ken in 2019. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sonya, and son Shaun, and his sister Margaret (Larry) Trupp.
As per Wayne’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
