Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • The unexpected passing has left me heartbroken. Lynn and I met at Hedges Junior High in the early 70s. We have been friends ever since. Over the years, we shared many laughs and tears. We loved cooking and traded recipes and techniques. I will certainly miss our chats and her friendship. Wishing Wolfgang and Glenn comfort and strength for the days, and weeks ahead. - Posted by: Jo-Anne Velleman (friend) on: Nov 10, 2025

  • Sincere condolences to Lynn’s family and Wolfgang and his family. Lynn did many remarkable things during her life. Teaching others about diabetes and proper diet, especially Indigenous people in Northern Manitoba, was very significant. She was a caring person. - Posted by: John Rislahti (Friend) on: Nov 09, 2025

  • My sincere condolences to both Wolfgang and Glen. A heartbreaking loss. Glen, you well described Lynn as a caring and kind person, my memories of her always bring up a picture of a smiling, somewhat impish Lynn. I remember family visits in 1-6 and always am grateful for having grown up knowing my extended family. She is, as you said, at peace and pain free. - Posted by: Lorraine Lorenz (distant cousin) on: Nov 08, 2025

  • Lynn and I bonded over having the same first name and sitting in the first row of desks during first year at the University of Manitoba. We volunteered, with a dedicated group of fellow alumni, in planning and hosting our many reunions over the past 58 years! She was a dedicated professional. Lynn will be missed by us all. - Posted by: Lynn Cooper (University friend from Human Ecology) on: Nov 08, 2025
