Ruth Phyllis Shirley Morrow (nee Norlin), Beloved wife of the late Dennis Morrow. April 9, 1936, to November 7, 2025.
Peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Rest Haven Care home, Ruth passed from the loving arms of her family into the open arms of Jesus.
Mom was born in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. She was married in May of 1954. She came to Manitoba in 1969. She had seven children- Eric (Cheryl), Ken (Kim), Shelley (Ken), Darcy (Sharon), Penny and Denny, Heather (Glen) and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Ruth will be missed dearly by her family and friends who came to know her laugh, beautiful smile, and bright blue eyes.
Join our family in celebrating Ruth’s life on November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Morrow Gospel Church at 755 St. Annes Road, Winnipeg. Service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend.

Shelly (and all the Morrow family), I am saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. I do remember her and her smile. I know she was a believer, and the very thing we long for is to be with Jesus. I pray that as you walk through this difficult journey, you will have so many fond memories to comfort you! May God continue to pursue and overtake your grief before you know you need Him. I will miss my dear sweet friend but I know she is in her heavenly home with our LORD and her family. I treasure our 45 + years of friendship and meeting for breakfasts, phone calls and sing alongs. I enjoyed my visit with her on July 29 and she knew my name. I am so very blessed that the Morrow family were/are present in my life and I shall continue to listen to the Morrow Gospel singers CDs all the rest of my days.
