ENID BROWN

Five Years Later — Forever in Our Hearts

It has been five years since our beloved Enid Brown entered into glory, yet her presence continues to live in our hearts and homes. Time may have passed, but the warmth of her spirit, the strength of her faith, and the depth of her love remain ever near.

Enid was more than a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a born-again, Holy Ghost-filled Apostolic woman of God whose life was anchored in prayer and the timeless truth of the Word of God. Her Bible was never far from her hands, and her prayers never ceased to rise for those she loved, even for those who mistreated her. Forgiveness and compassion flowed naturally from her heart. She didn’t just talk about God’s love; she lived it daily, embodying grace in action.

Her kitchen was her sanctuary of generosity — a place where cooking, baking, and sharing food became an act of worship and love. Whether it was a warm cinnamon roll, beef patty, a sweet treat, or a comforting meal, she nourished not only bodies but souls. Through every dish and every shared moment, she expressed God’s love with humility and joy.

Enid was an intercessor and a dreamer, gifted with a spiritual sensitivity that amazed all who knew her. Many of her dreams came to pass exactly as she had seen them, a testament to her close walk with God. Her prayers moved mountains, and her dreams often prepared others for blessings or trials ahead.

She was also a woman of remarkable resilience. A true warrior who overcame paralysis and fought through illness with unshakable faith. What would have broken others only strengthened her resolve. She faced every battle with courage, anchored in the belief that ‘with God, all things are possible.’

Her hugs were unforgettable, full of comfort, warmth, and peace it was like being wrapped in the love of God Himself. Her kindness had no boundaries, and her concern for others never ceased. Even when wronged, she found ways to check in, to call, to care, and to love again.

Today, as we honour her life and legacy, we remember not just what she did but who she was. A woman of prayer, strength, and divine purpose. Her faith still speaks. Her example still guides. Her love still surrounds us.
