Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY GEORGE MCINTYRE
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather on November 13, 2025.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Karen; daughters, Donalyn (Gerry) and Shelley (Steve); along with grandchildren, Jackson, Wyatt, Max, and Addison.
Born on April 22, 1942, in Grandview, Manitoba, Gary moved first to Dauphin and then to Winnipeg in his youth.
After finishing high school, he made a successful career at Michelin, establishing long-term mutually beneficial relationships with dealerships throughout Canada. Gary was not just a salesperson in these relationships; he
became a life-long friend.
For those who knew Gary, you’ll remember his energy, his never-ending desire to help, his cherished ties with extended family and friends, along with his incredible ability to stretch a dollar. Gary rarely sat still; there was never a job he wouldn’t be ready to take on or to help with. He spent countless hours with projects at their treasured cabin at Granite Lake. When he had extra time, he enjoyed taking kids boating, waterskiing, and tubing. Gary loved spending as much time as possible at the lake with Karen and the rest of his family and friends. Gary was always active, playing in pool leagues, golfing, and fishing. He and his wife Karen also enjoyed spending their winters after retirement with friends in Texas and Florida.
We’d like to thank the staff at Health Science Centre for the compassionate care Gary received; we couldn’t be more grateful.
While flowers are respectfully declined, if you wish, donations to a charity of your choice in the name of Gary would be greatly appreciated by the family.

We were shocked by the news from Kim, our daughter and a great friend to Shelley. We came to Winnipeg in 1974 and lived next door to Gary, Karen and girls. We enjoyed many camping trips those few years before Gary and family moved to B.C. They returned a few years later and the friendship continued. We send our deepest condolences to you Karen and your family. Gary will be missed by many. - Posted by: Arlne and Marvin Fetch (friends for over 50 years) on: Nov 22, 2025
