GARY ROSS THOMPSON
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Ross Thompson on November 17, 2025.
Gary leaves to mourn his wife of 56 years, Marleen; brother Keith (Joyce); brother-in-law Leonard (Joann); sisters-in-law, Kathy and Eileen (Wayne); as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Ross and Annie; sister Marilyn; and his father- and mother-in-law, Len and Rose Mark.
Many thanks to Dr. Maksymiuk and Tamara of CancerCare Manitoba. Thanks also to the nurses and doctors from the palliative care program.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to a charity of your choice.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

As Christmas draws near a time when family and friends gather to spread cheer. Our hearts are heavy missing those that are dear. My sincere condolences to auntie Marleen and family. Many special memories spent with my uncle Gary at this time of year. He was always there for me taking me to ringette in the city and staying overnight. He was someone I have always looked up to. Of all the greatest gifts in life however great or small, to have you as our Uncle was the greatest gift of all.
