Bessie, or Besse as she liked to go by, passed away peacefully at the extraordinary age of 104. She married her beloved Jack in 1940 and spent 65 happy years together alongside their three children Judy, Richard, and Howard.
Known for her intelligence, and lively conversations about politics and current events, Bessie had a wide circle of friends. She loved reading and playing bridge, and remained strong and resilient despite the many losses she faced.
Bessie is survived by her daughter Judy Haid (Sidney), nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence and other caregivers for their compassionate care.
May her memory be a blessing.
