Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family Walter John Abraham of Sagkeeng First Nation, Manitoba passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 72 years.
Waldo leaves to mourn his wife Suzie, children Margaret (RJ), Drake (Julie), Kevin, Shelley (Spock), Joe Bird, Jason, Roberta, Joseph, Aaron (Deidre) and Justin (Ginger); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, Stanley (Louie), Christine (Walter) and Lillian (Oscar), numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and students.
He was predeceased by his Virginia (nee Dorie) and Wallace Abraham, siblings, Margaret, Larry, Warren, Joseph, Clarence (Pot), Gerald and Lawrence, granddaughter Tiffany Abraham, grandson Arjay Henry, his grandparents, Alfred and Priscilla (nee Mann) Abraham and Sidney and Christine (nee Thickfoot) Dorie, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Wake services are being held at his residence at 698 North Shore Rd, Sagkeeng First Nation, MB from November 25 to 27, 2025, and at the Christ Church Anglican Hall, Sagkeeng, First Nation, Thursday, November 27, 2025. Funeral service will follow in the church on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Interment at a later date.
