Rainer Christoph Rӧssing, our cherished father, Opa, brother, and friend; known for his hospitality, kindness, and warm spirit, peacefully passed away on November 19, 2025, at 86 years of age.
A service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Rainer will be laid to rest in the spring, in a private ceremony near one of his favourite places—Riding Mountain National Park.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful staff at Fairview Personal Care Home (Brandon, MB) and Misericordia Place (Winnipeg, MB). Their compassion and care over the past four years meant so much to Rainer and to all of us.
In lieu of flowers, and in Rainer’s honour, share a special meal and a drink of your choice with family and friends—just as he loved to do.
