Robert Murray Fraser passed away November 18. He was surrounded by his family and wrapped in love. Though his time on this earth was 95 years, it was not long enough for his wife of 60 years Claire, children David Fraser, Heather (Ashley) Meehan and his 3 granddaughters Alanna, Tayah and Keira.
Murray was born in Winnipeg in September 1930 and graduated from UBC Electrical Engineering in 1953. He spent the majority of his working life at Manitoba Hydro in Winnipeg, starting in 1959 and retiring in 1992 as Vice President. Murray and Claire lived the last 25 years in south Surrey where he enjoyed attending his computer club at Kent Street Community Centre and was a member of the Probus club. Murray loved playing golf at Nico Wynd, which he enjoyed until very recently.
We will find comfort in our countless memories of this wonderful man. His sharp mind and positive spirit were a part of him until the end.
