Katherine Hoover was born in Manitoba on November 11, 1927, to Peter and Margaret Penner. She was the 5th child of 10.
She married on October 12, 1946, gave birth to her first daughter, Linda, on November 12, 1947, and lost her husband, Ken Lambrecht, to an accident on November 14,1947.
She married Robert Hoover, who also had three daughters, Lynn, Diane, and Elaine, on May 30, 1949, and gave birth to three more daughters, Judy, Sandra, and Grace.
She was an active Pastor’s wife for 55 years.
Katherine passed peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of November 23, 2025.
She will be greatly missed, but we know she will continue to live on in all those who have had the privilege of knowing her.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Springs Church, 725 Lagimodiere Blvd., with a reception to follow.
The internment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Trevor Freake.
