Jim passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 95 years.
Jim will be sadly missed by his daughters Kathleen (Kathy), Todd and Donna Kildaw, his stepdaughter Kathy Milne, granddaughter Kriste Crate (John) and his great-grandson Ben Yanko. He will also be missed by many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Agnes (nee Klassen), his second wife Barbara (nee Starrett), mother Emma (nee Brennan), father Jessie Todd and brother Raymond Todd.
Jim was born on October 29,1930 in Winnipeg, MB. He was raised in Weston and attended Cecil Rhodes Elementary and Junior High Schools and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate. Jim worked at Winnipeg Hydro for 35 years and took great pride in his position as a trouble dispatcher. He retired on November 1, 1990. Jim was a member of CUPE Local 500 and served as a shop steward. He also was a long-time member of Calvin Presbyterian Church.
Jim was a generous, dedicated hard-working husband and father. He enjoyed family activities and was always there to support his daughters.

A funeral will be held at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave, Winnipeg on Wednesday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with viewing at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada and The Winnipeg Cheer Board.
