• I always give Frank credit for his (seemingly) favourite postcard line: “Weather is here, wish you were beautiful.” I’m so sorry to hear that Frank has moved on to his next great adventure. He was an amazing, patient, and genuinely amusing professor—one of the few I remember with real fondness. During grad school he became more of a friend, and his sharp, warm sense of humour shone even more clearly. • My condolences to the family. I am deeply saddened by the passing of Professor Hruska. In the late 1980s I took an upper level physical biochemistry course offered by Dr. Hruska focusing on nucleic acids and it inspired me - today I am still working on RNA and I am a faculty member at the University of Manitoba. I also deeply enjoyed his involved in promoting the History of Science.
