LINDA LIZZI
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Lizzi. She passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025 at the age of 79. A loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished Nonna, Linda filled every room with her warmth, laughter, and joyful spirit. She touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born in Guilmi, Province of Cheti, Italy, Linda immigrated to Canada with her husband, her parents, and her younger sister to begin a new chapter. She spent many years working in the restaurant at Eaton’s department store before its closing. She was known for her generous heart, infectious laugh, and love of life; Linda brought light wherever she went.
Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Sundays were always reserved for family gatherings, moments she deeply treasured. During the summer months, she loved weekends at the beach, surrounded by the people she loved most. These memories will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Linda leaves behind her devoted husband, Antonio; her beloved children, Joe, Dina, and Nick; and her adored grandchildren, Jordan, Nicholas, and Daniel. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Maria, and by her nieces and nephews: Jason (Meaghan) with children Luca and Julia; Peter (Sarah) with children Eva and Stella; Monica (Andrew) with children Mattea and Alessia; and Carlo.
She is also mourned by her nieces and nephews in Italy: Maria (Nino) with children Greta and Rebecca; and Giuseppe (Patrizia) with children Anna and Armando; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on December 10, 2025 at Holy Rosary Church. Condolences will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a eulogy and Mass at 11:00 a.m.
