GAIL JONES
Gail left this earth suddenly while at her home. She left to be in Heaven on December 6, 2025. Born to Eileen Weber in 1955 in Brandon, Manitoba where she grew up with her siblings in the north end.
Gail became a psychiatric nurse in 1994 and went on to spend many years in her chosen profession working in various locations, with the majority in Crisis Services in Brandon where she made many special life-long friendships with her colleagues. She married Reg Jones in Brandon in 2011 and they lived happy together and loved to travel and camp together. Reg and Gail spent many hours involved with Westman Jams music group which Reg had founded and she had many cherished memories and friendships from that time. She also had a special friendship with Glen and with her long-time neighbours Diana and Cameron. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, make food, play games, spend time with her cats, and doing crafts. She was loving, kind, generous, thoughtful, patient, and was always there to support her loved ones.
She was predeceased by Reg in 2013, her brother Ron in 2022, brother Herald in 2019 and sister Donna in 2000. Left to mourn are: daughter, Kerri (Trent Schmidt); grandsons, Hunter, Mason, Aiden of Portage La Prairie, Manitoba; Brandi (Josh Symonds); grandson, Oakley of Calgary, Alberta; and son, Kris Farmer of Brandon, Manitoba. Brother Brian (Donna Weber), Joan (Harry Beck), and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held at Brandon Cemetery on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Her memory will always live in the hearts of her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
