With deep sadness, Alex Hanson passed away peacefully December 5, 2025 after a brief illness.
He was born on October 28, 1936, living his early years in Austin, Manitoba. He is survived by his sister, Yvonne Anderson (of Carberry) and his 3 daughters – Joanne (James) Gross, Shannon (Darren) Adam and Jennifer (Chris) Johnston, along with 6 grandchildren – Carlie Johnston, Paige and Lucas Adam and Marina, Sara and Megan Gross.
He was predeceased by his wife, Carol, of 60 years on June 12, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at Carman United Church on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with lunch to follow.
