On December 2, 2025 at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, our mom, granny, and great- granny passed away at the age of 91. She is survived by her daughter Eileen Janowski; her sons Ken (Shelley) Martini and Bruce Martini; her grandchildren, Sara (Kelsey), Frank, Jonathan (Kim), Lorrisa and Benjamin (Katrina); her great-grandchildren, Adeline, MacKenna and Nickolas.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to special friend Florian and everyone that helped our mom remain in her apartment until six months ago. Mom was a strong, independent women who worked hard all her life, with her mind sharp as a tac right until the end.
In accordance with Mom’s wishes, no formal service will be held, cremation has been completed and Mom will be buried with her Mom Lillian Surridge.
Rest in peace momma. Your job on earth being the matriarch is done and now it is your turn to rest. We will miss you but will see you again someday. Enjoy the big bingo parlor in the sky. Love you.
