KEITH WILLIAM STATHERS


Keith Stathers passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at 82, surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Matthew (Cathy) and Tammis (Anthony); his grandchildren, Matteo, Sabrina, Luca, Sofia, and Hayden who were the light of his life; sister Lucy Waterhouse; nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his Mother Dorcas Shaw, Father Goerge Stathers; Sisters, Sylvia Seager, Evelyn Heppenstall, Shirley Riggall; Brothers, Albert Stathers, Norman Stathers, Harold Stathers and Niece Marilyn Hardy.

Born in Boston, Lincolnshire, England on January 7, 1943, Keith joined the Merchant Navy at 16 before emigrating to Winnipeg in 1963. He married Sharon in 1966 and raised their family in Winnipeg, residing in River Heights for over 45 years. Keith worked at NCR as a salesman and programmer, later joining Gendis Inc., where he managed the Point-of-Sale department until retirement.

In retirement, Keith enjoyed world travel with Sharon and volunteered at the Humane Society. Funeral services will be held January 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Inurnment will follow.

The family thanks Grace Hospice staff for their compassionate care. Donations in Keith's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
