On Thursday, December 25, 2025, Sister Evelyn Pierret, Fille de la Croix, peacefully passed into the loving arms of her Lord.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Villa Aulneau, 601 Aulneau Street, Winnipeg, on January 7, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the Mass.

Dear Eveline, I'm sorry to hear of your passing but I know there is a special place for you in heaven. I fondly remember our 4 high school years together at boarding school run by Les Filles de la Croix, a convent which you eventually entered. Lucky them to have you on board, so gentle, so tolerant and so funny with a very broad smile that never quit shining. Rest in peace, Eveline. I remember you so fondly during our 4 high school years together 1958 to 1962 in Bellegarde , Saskatchewan's boarding school run by the Sisters of the Cross ( Filles dela Croix) You were ever so gentle, tolerant and funny with the biggest most beautiful smile, which often shone.
