DOROTHY WEBB

Dorothy Webb ("Dodo") passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, after a long and full life.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Basil, and her children Ryan, Averley and Mark. She is survived by her partner, Brian Place, her sister Grace Taylor, and many nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection.

Dorothy's life was marked by profound loss, yet she met each day with quiet resilience, kindness, and a gentle sense of humour that brought lightness to those around her. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the unique joy she shared in her own way.

A small private service was held.

She endured deeply, loved fully,

And brought lightness

to those around her.

Lovingly remembered.

  • We were so saddened to just recently hear of Auntie Do-do's passing. We hadn't seen or heard from her for many years, but we still thought and talked about her often. I can see her beautiful eyes and hear here mischievous cackle when I think of her. She endured more loss in her life than anyone should ever have to, and I think it made it difficult for her to maintain deep relationships; perhaps out of fear of losing them. But we loved Auntie Do-do and will remember her fondly always. - Posted by: Ashlee Taylor (Niece) on: Jan 17, 2026
