Bill was a valued member of the Freemasons and a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering service to others. He served with distinction as a former Worshipful Master of Viking Lodge in Gimli and was held in such high regard that he was named an Honorary Member of Stonewall Stony Mountain Lodge #12. He was a familiar and welcome face at many doors, frequently visiting other Lodges and remaining a steadfast supporter of every community and Lodge event. A man who never hesitated to help anyone in need, he gave freely of his time and his spirit. Whether it was offering quiet support to a friend or his thoughtful gift of a new barbeque to Stony Mountain Stonewall Lodge to ensure their fellowship could continue, Bill’s kindness was always practical and heartfelt. Bill lived his life with an open hand and an open heart. He has left an indelible mark on his Brothers and his community, and he will be deeply missed by all his fellow Freemasons who had the privilege of knowing him. - Posted by: Justin Bernard (Friend) on: Jan 19, 2026
