ROBERT HOPWOOD
Robert Hopwood (Bob) passed away peacefully at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family. He lived with dementia for several years and resided at River East Personal Care Home, where he received exceptional and compassionate care.
Born in England, Bob immigrated to Canada as a young man. He met his beloved wife, Gladys, and together they built a full and meaningful life in Winnipeg, raising three children. Bob was known for his keen attention to detail, his strong opinions, and his memorable personality. He will be fondly remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Courage Bay at River East Personal Care Home in honour of Bob Hopwood and in appreciation of the care and kindness show to him.
