ALLEEN BARTLETT-BURNS (SCHELLENBERGER)

Alleen was born on May 12, 1927 in Sebringville, Ontario, lived in Stratford, Churchill, Brandon and Winnipeg, and died on December 15, 2025 at 98 years of age.

She was predeceased by her husbands Arthur Bartlett and Robert Burns as well as two of her children, Verna Bartlett and John Bartlett. She is survived by her children Mary and Paul and their families.

Alleen spent many years helping others. She enjoyed her time as a Guide leader in Fort Churchill, Manitoba and was very proud of being a life member of The Royal Canadian Legion Ladies' Auxiliary in Brandon.

The time has come for me to leave

The sun is down

The tide recedes

And so, I must go, though not alone

I've lived, I've laughed, I've loved

I am home.
