Stew leaves behind two children, Keith and Addison, grandchildren Jayden, Cera and Cory, brother Rob and sister Jill both of Winnipeg.
Stew attended University of Manitoba where he graduated in 1975 as a Registered Industrial Accountant. He furthered his education with an MBA in Finance and Computer Sciences and in 1988, he moved his family to Sherwood Park Alta. where he continued his career until retirement in 2005.
A special thank you to Ken and Ceci Alexander of Stony Plain, Alta. for their generosity and kindness to Stew in his remaining years. Arrangements have been made through Trinity Funeral Home in Edmonton.
