Gary was born in Verdun, Montreal and attended MacDonald High School. Shortly after graduating he decided to head west stopping in Pinawa to visit his parents. Gary had a love of cars and could identify almost any make, model and year of car. Formula 1 was his passion and he did get the experience of being in “The Pit” at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal in 1995. Gary and Merle shared many memories of good times and friends at the trailer in the Autumnwood Trailer Park in Gimli. Also adventures cruising in the Caribbean and vacationing in Mexico.
