JAMES (JIM) WADDY

September 14,1947 - January 26,2026

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Jim passed January 26, 2026, with his friend Pedro by his side. Predeceased by his mother. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Linda (Ray) St. Onge, nieces Marlene and Marnie (Rob) and dear friend Pedro who has been there for Jim through all the ups and downs.

Jim's exterior was hard, but he had a heart of gold and was always willing to help those around him. Over the years, Jim made many friends where he worked as well as his neighbors on the block. Thanks to all for your kindness and friendship to Jim over the years.

Rest in peace brother. You earned it.

No service planned. Cremation has already taken place.

Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • We, at Speciallaser Tech Inc., are deeply saddened by the passing of our former coworker and friend, Jim, who worked with us for many years. He was truly one of a kind—a true character with a larger-than-life personality, a devoted company man, and someone whose strong work ethic made him feel like part of our family. While he carried a crisp and brash exterior, those who knew him well understood the kindness and generosity beneath it. Jim would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. We will fondly remember and deeply miss his singing, his joking around, his tales of the Wrinkle Ranch, and his ability to be funny and crispy all at the same time. His unique personality, loyalty, and heart left a lasting impression on all of us, and he will be greatly missed by his employer, coworkers and friends. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jim’s dear friend, Pedro, for being such a kind and generous presence in Jim’s life. We are grateful that Jim had Pedro to lean on, and we sincerely appreciate the friendship and support he so freely gave. - Posted by: Karen & Kurt Lofgren (Employer and Friend) on: Feb 02, 2026

  • Jimmy was the one guy that helped me through the years welding. He taught me a lot and had the patience to show me all the ins and outs. Jimmy always helped out after work if needed. If there was a project I was doing at home he would volunteer and give me a hand when I needed it. You were a good friend Jim I appreciated everything you helped me with. God bless and rest in peace brother. - Posted by: Dean kupresak (Ex co-worker) on: Feb 02, 2026
