DAVID BRIAN HILDERMAN

September 19,1947 - December 6, 2025

Dave Hilderman passed away suddenly on December 6, 2025, at age 78. An electrician by trade, Dave was highly regarded and considered a magician at times with his knowledge, creativity and keen ability to solve complex issues for his clients. In recent years, Dave mentored many upcoming electricians, passing on his extensive knowledge and expertise. An entrepreneur, Dave also owned The Bagel House Bakery in the late 1980’s. Known for superb croissants and delicious bagels, Dave took pride in serving excellent pastries and would often deliver them to his commercial accounts personally. Though surrounded throughout his life by a wide circle of friends, many became more like family. Dave’s true anchors were Jack, Angie, and Paolina Morgante and closest to him were both his lifelong friend Bobby Bruce and his great friend Luca Imbrogno. Dave was partial to great espresso and a good conversation. Known for his razor-sharp wit, great sense of humour and kind heart, Dave was a founding customer and member of the Bar Italia Family. Always quick to help or lend an ear, Dave gave great advice and was always someone who could be counted on. He will be greatly missed.

Please join Us on Sunday, February 8 at Bar Italia 737 Corydon Ave from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for a casual gathering of friends to celebrate the Dave’s life. Come have an espresso, mini or a drink, share a story and a memory with those who loved him.
