Mario Enrique Martinez, age 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on April 30, 1947 in Berlin, El Salvador to his devoted mother Juana Martinez.
Mario lived a life defined by strength, dedication, and love.
Mario was a devoted husband, brother, and proud father to wife Roxana Elizabeth Perez, sister Dora, children, Karen Martinez, Joanna Klassen (Levi), Hendry Martinez (Cara). He was a cherished grandfather to Leighton, Antonio, Mia, Adriana, Annalisa, Liam, and Aaliyah. His love for his family was unwavering, and they were always at the center of his world.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Park Manor Care Home for their care, compassion, and dedication.
Mario will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on forever.
