GORDON DENIS GRIEEF
Gordon Grieef, beloved husband of Jessie (Jaye) Grieef passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the age of 85 years with family at his side.
Gord was a gentle and quiet man who was proud of his family and of being a husband and father. He loved his family, weather, travelling, birding and engineering. He spent many hours travelling the world enjoying the birds along the way. He instilled a love of nature and travel in his children.
Gord is survived by his loving wife, Jaye Grieef, daughters Paula Grieef and Susan Grieef; son-in-law, Derek Boutang; and grandson Noah Boutang; sister-in-law Lucille Grieef and nieces Tricia, Lisa and their families; in-laws Betty and Orest Chytyk, Syd Pauls, Harvey and Dawn Pauls and their families.
Gord was predeceased by his parents Vera and Denis Grieef and his brother, Bill Grieef.
We will all hold special memories in our hearts of Gord. He will be greatly missed by all.
There will be Celebration of Life on February 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harry J. Enns Wetland Discovery Centre at Oak Hammock Marsh.
