On February 14, 2026 our brother, Billy died in Parksville, BC. He was almost 86. Born in Winnipeg on March 1, 1940. He went to Wolseley, Laura Secord and Daniel McIntyre schools.
Employed with MTS, he worked in Norway House. It was here he met his first wife Ann. They have two children, Scott and Kevin.
He moved to Vancouver when he was hired by BCTEL and worked in Trail, BC.
After retiring from BCTEL, he resided in Vancouver and operated a private telephone service. It was here he met his second wife, Lynn.
He spent his last years in Parksville on Vancouver Island.
He will be remembered in Winnipeg by his sisters; Cathie Geddes, Mary Jane Sprenger, Robin Siemens and their families.
