The rarest of beauties, radiating from her enormous heart outward, Patricia touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, humor and love.
Quietly, and with dignity, held by her devoted son Michael and her daughter Kathy, she left us peacefully. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
To honour her in her passing, as we did in her life, there will not be a service. She would prefer you remember her with a gift to either the Salvation Army or an animal shelter of your choosing.
She leaves, to cherish her life and memory, her children; her granddaughters, Taylor, Sarah and Jennifer; extended family members; friends and acquaintances.
A thousand years wouldn’t have been enough time to have with her.
Patricia didn’t just stop to smell the flowers on her journey through life - she also stopped to pet all the puppies, pspsps at all the kitties and feed the birds.
Having almost lost her three years ago, we are eternally grateful for the additional time we were able to have her in our lives. Whether it was painting Christmas cookies or playing silly games after family dinners, we laughed, we loved and we were present in those moments.
We would like to thank the caregivers at Brightwater Senior Living and, especially, the nursing staff at Grace Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion.
