SCOTT NEWSOM

A few months before he died, Scott wrote to his family from Germany, after a year at Bodenseehof Bible School: "I'm already turning my heart toward home .... I love you and look forward to seeing you soon". Scott wrote about Jesus: "He ... doesn't say 'but'. He doesn't see you as a 'but' person at all; he's not loving you in spite of anything. He just loves you because he loves you because he loves you, and that's the only thing that matters". We are thankful that Scott loved Jesus, and that we will see Scott in Heaven. Some favourite verses of Scott's: "He heals the broken-hearted and bandages up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name." (Psalm 147:3-4)
Scott, we who know you love you and miss you.
