With sadness and love, we announce Erna passed away at the age of 87 years old.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cindy (Francis); grandsons, Jayden, Jonah, Aaron; and her son Ron (Gwen); grandsons, Thomas (Janice), Steven, and great-granddaughter Elsa. Also left to mourn is her sister Frieda; special friends, Helen and Tina; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur, husband Helmut and son Garry.
We would like to thank the many people who helped care for our mom in her final years including Dr. Robert Johnson; Concordia Village staff; WRHA home care aids and case coordinator; and Right at Home Private Home Care staff and home care aids.
Family and close friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. on March 5, 2026 (her birthday), at Concordia Village Centre, 1125 Molson Street, Winnipeg. Parking is limited.
