Audrey Irene Wheatland (nee McKenzie) passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at Kysen Regional Hospital in Terrace, BC at the age of 95.
She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she spent the first few years of her life before the family moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she completed her secondary education and went on to graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, Thomas and Dorothy McKenzie (nee Hutt); her aunt Irene "auntie" Hutt, aunt Katherine "Kate" Adamson (nee McKenzie) and her husband Robert "Bob" Wheatland. She is survived by sons, Patrick (Suzanne), Brendan (Terry), Brian and Michael (Stacey) Nagle. She is also survived by granddaughter Kami (Seth Ruf) Nagle and great-granddaughters, Isabella and Eloise Ruf.
You are at peace at last, R.I.P. Mom. There will not be a service and in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
