With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Garry Wayne Bennett on March 10, 2026. Garry passed peacefully surrounded by his family.
Garry was known for his generous spirit and love for his family and friends. He enjoyed spending winters in Arizona to golf and soak up the sunshine. Garry regularly travelled to Vancouver to visit his son and made many trips to Tulsa, Oklahoma to spend time with his daughter and granddaughters.
Garry is survived by his children, Tamara and Rodney Bennett, two grandchildren, Isabella and Ava, as well as the mother and grandmother of his children, Lise Bennett. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Gordon (Cork) and Clifford (Ben) Bennett.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer society.
