Albert James Neilson passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 79.
Al will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Debbie; his sons Curtis (Shelli) and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren; and his great-granddaughters.
One of Al's greatest passions was golf. He and Debbie enjoyed many wonderful years together as snowbirds, spending winters in South Carolina. After celebrating Christmas with family each year, they would head south to enjoy time on the golf course and relaxing on the beach together. Among their travels, they also shared a memorable trip to Hawaii.
Al lived a life centered on family, simple joys, and meaningful moments.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 18 at 2:00 p.m. at The Players Course (Chrissea's), 2695 Park Royale Way, Winnipeg.
