Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA JOAN PINK
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Pink after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer.
Barb was born in Winnipeg where she spent most of her life with the exception of a few years of living and working in Calgary for Robert LeBlond architectural firm. The major job that Barb was involved in while working for this firm was the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump Interpretive Centre in southern Alberta.
Her working career in Winnipeg was spent with two major companies, Monsanto and James Richardson & Sons. Occasionally Barb would send photos of an amazing sunrise or sunset taken from one of the top floors of the Richardson building.
She was a world traveller with a particular affinity for Indonesia where she and her husband Tim enjoyed many happy vacations.
Barb was an avid collector of many things but her greatest collection and the one she treasured was the many friends she made in her lifetime.
Left to cherish Barb’s memory are her husband of 38 years Tim, Tim’s mother Beatrice, sisters, Melissa (Graham), Linda, niece Olivia, and nephews, Steven and Jonathan Verry; brothers, Raymond (Berlinda) and Larry Pink and nephews, Ron (Jenn), Christopher and Sam as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Barb was predeceased by her parents, Joan and Ken Pink, sister Linda, nephew Michael (Sophia) and brother-in-law Patrick Verry.
The family wishes to thank Barb’s doctors and the many nurses and staff at the St. Boniface and Grace Hospitals for their kind and compassionate care.
A special acknowledgement also to the many good friends who provided love and support in her final days.
As per Barb’s wishes cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life is being planned and a further announcement will be posted once details are finalized.
Flowers are graciously declined. Those wishing to donate are directed to the Canadian Cancer Society with designation "In Memory of Barbara Pink" to MDS and blood cancer research, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Red Cross, the Winnipeg Humane Society or to a charity of your choice.

I met Barb and Tim waiting for the 68 Crescent bus every morning, when we were heading off to work. We became great bus buddy friends. I so enjoyed my conversations with Barb. I loved travelling and so did they. One year they invited my friend and l to join them on a trip to Bali. Such a great experience. Barb had all these beautiful friends in Bali, which she knew from her early years. I loved and admired her collection of antiques and how she displayed them for the yearly holidays. My condolences to Tim and her family. - Posted by: Brenda Soares (Friend) on: Mar 16, 2026

I enjoyed working with Barb and hearing about her cats and various renovations! Who can forget our impromptu office walk up bar. Our condolences to you Tim. - Posted by: Peter and Sandy Entz (Co-worker) on: Mar 15, 2026
