Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADRIENNE THERESE SUL
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Adrienne Sul, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. She passed away peacefully, with her family at her side at Action Marguerite Care Home. Dementia and a stroke took her away from us far too soon.
Adrienne was born in St. Malo, Manitoba in 1951 to Yvonne and Odilon Herie where she lived until the age of 15.
At 15, she moved to Winnipeg with her cousin Lena, where she worked at Wilson’s Auto-Electric and met her future husband, Donald Sul. They married when Adrienne was 19 and started their family together when she was 21.
She enjoyed sewing and baking for her two daughters, weekend camping and vacationing, along with golf and a good game of cards with her friends and neighbours.
After many years of working at Safeway, Adrienne retired and spent many years volunteering. She had a passion for serving her church. She taught Sunday School, led church groups, worked at Fall Suppers and served as a greeter. She also delivered Meals on Wheels for her community.
Oceanic cruises and winter trips to Palm Springs were the highlight of her travels, along with a trip to the east coast and the Holy ground of Jerusalem. She lived her best life entertaining friends and family at the cottage, long walks, a swim in the river, kayaking, and a glass of wine in her hot tub.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, Don; her daughters, Faith St. Hilaire (Gil) and Kelley Boissonneault (Mike); her two precious grandchildren, Nathan and Sarah; her sisters, Yolande Pelletier, Gertrude Laurin (Ray), Lorraine Lambert; her brothers, Gerald Chouinard (Monique), Ronald Herie; her brothers-in-law, Mervin Sul, Leonard Sul (Diane); sisters-in-law, Levinia Scott, Jeanne Chouinard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Thank you to the staff of Action Marguerite St. Vital for your compassionate care.
A mass will be held at St. Emile Church, 556 St. Anne’s Road, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.

It is with deep sadness to hear of Adrienne 's passing. As the years pass you lose touch with people. Life gets busy but I've thought of Adrienne often. She was a loving, elegant beautiful soul. My condolences to her family and friends. I was unable to attend as I am under the weather. Sending hugs. - Posted by: Mona Zimmerman (Friend) on: Mar 24, 2026
