Mr. Joseph Ivor Schoen was born in Winnipeg on December 5, 1943 and died at Deer Lodge Centre on March 13, 2026 at the age of 82 years. Joseph was the younger son of Joseph and Olga Caroline Schoen of Winnipeg, with his father living from 1911 to 1992 and his mother living from 1915 to 2010. He was predeceased by his elder brother, John, who lived from 1941 to 1999.
Joseph specified that final dispositions were to be accomplished without any formal observances and the Executor of the Estate has acted accordingly. Without ceremony, cremation has taken place, followed by interment of his urn at the family gravesite in Brookside Cemetery in Winnipeg.
Heartfelt thanks to the medical; nursing; social services and support staff at Deer Lodge Centre Lodge 5 West for their exemplary care and compassion over the past few months.

Sadness goes to whom ever is left in Joe's life. We have not been in contact for several years but we were brought up together on Toronto Street in Wpg. and were very close for years and with me moving all over the country lost touch. If he left someone close to him this is for you. He was a great guy and thought the world of his Mom. My Mom and his Mom Olga were in touch all their lives until mine passed away.
