CATHY BARBARA DAWN TROJAN
Cathy Barbara Dawn Trojan passed away on March 18, 2026 with family by her side at Riverview Health Centre.
Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John, daughters, Lailah and Yasmin, sisters, Joyce (Vince), Candice, brother Tim (Karen) and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Hilda, and her sister Heather.
Cathy was born in Winnipeg. She worked at Klinic for 40 years before retiring in 2021.
Cathy will be remembered for her great sense of humour, her vast knowledge of random facts, her love of singing, her love of animals including her many pets over the years, and being a generally fun-loving person. Before losing her mobility, she loved going to concerts and would often talk about the many bands she had seen.
The family would like to thank the many home care workers and nurses for their care.
A funeral service will be held on March 28, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MS Canada, CancerCare Manitoba or Winnipeg Humane Society.

To John, Lailah and Yasmin Words can not express my deepest sorrows for the loss of Cathy. We were life long friends and I will miss her dearly. My goal was to make her laugh and I hope I accomplished that. I will miss her laughter as well as her many attributes . Her philanthropic ways that she always had time and energy for those in need, being her great asset as a human being. Her shared love of the Beatles and John Lennon will be missed. Cathy, i will miss you dearly. In my time at Klinic you quickly became one of my best friends. I’m so thankful our paths crossed. Thank you for passing on your amazing kindness and patience, and sharing all of our laughs together.
