With great sorrow we announce the passing of Agnes Jane (Byers) Selin on March 29, 2026, at the age of 93 years. Agnes was born in Portage La Prairie on July 16, 1932. During her lifetime she is remembered as the kindest wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, parishioner, and friend.
Agnes will be deeply missed by her children, Shane Selin and Candace Peck; daughter-in-law, Shelly Selin; grandchildren, Cherrelle, Drew and Cole Selin; and great-grandchildren, Reis Peck, Theo and Elliet Selin.
A private service by invitation or special request will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

My sister Rita and Agnes worked together and on occasion i would to happen visit them. Agnes was always most welcoming and gracious, she would offer me any goodies she had and then proceeded to inform why her political party was better then mine in a good natured grandmotherly way of hers.
