It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our aunt Jeanette, who passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital with her family by her side on April 8, 2026.
Jeanette was predeceased by her parents, Ludwik and Theodora Palechka; her husband, Bob Dobbs; her brothers, Walter and Joseph; her sisters, Mary (Mike Yurkow), Rose (Steve Hykawy), Pauline LaFleshe; and lifelong companion and friend, Robert McConeghy.
She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew: Cindy (Leonard Gottfried), Carol (Wayne Syganiec), Annette (Dennis Pudlo), Paul LaFleshe, and Darlene (John Vanderzander). She will also be missed by her great-grandnieces and nephew and her great-great-grandnephews and nieces.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during this difficult time, especially nurse Monica who went above and beyond.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
