It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of David Doerksen at the age of 84.
David was born in Steinbach, Manitoba, and lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He worked in the packing plant industry for many years. He was known for his love of family and friends and his sense of humour.
He is survived by his brother Ben (Anne); sisters, Esther and Sarah; ex-wife Elaine; children, Kelvin (Liana) and Candace; grandchildren, Dylan (Athena), Vanessa (Joey), and Cheyenne (Robert).
David was predeceased by his brothers, Peter, Jac, John, and Abraham.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway, Winnipeg.
