RAYMOND RYAN
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Raymond Ryan.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Ryan; his daughter, Shelley Mota (Pedro), and grandson, Anthony Mota; his son, Mark Ryan; and his brothers, Michael Duffy, Kevin Ryan, and Brent Tyson, along with their respective families.
Ray carried his East Coast roots throughout his life, eventually making his home in Manitoba, where he spent his adult years building a life grounded in family, hard work and community.
He took great pride in working with his hands and enjoyed renovations and odd projects. He was a passionate sports fan, especially hockey and enjoyed playing and organizing ball hockey. He found joy in music and had a deep interest in current events and history.
His chats about life with family and friends will be missed the most.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation Cycle on Life Bikeathon Team, The Cocoa Cruisers.

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Raymond at Canadian News. He was a very conscientious worker. Went out of his way to help you. I saw him last at Super Value. He caught me up on everyone that he had seen. We had a great visit. Sorry he was taken from us so soon. - Posted by: Roseann Farmer (Co worker) on: Apr 28, 2026
