Sadly, on April 13, 2026, Gregory Allen Monkman, at the age of 59, passed away.
Gregory was predeceased by his Father Raymond Monkman. He is survived by his Mother Elsie Monkman; Sisters Shannon Robichaud and Bonnie Monkman; daughter, Justine Hill; and grandchildren, James and Jace.
Born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Gregory is known for his kindness to others and his love for family. Gregory had a special relationship with his grandmother Lena Settee. After graduating, Gregory worked in construction. He enjoyed spending time with his partner Evelyn Beardy and would often visit Fisher River to see family and friends. Gregory was very proud of his name and loved the time at the lake with his cousins at Pine Dock, Loon Straits and Matheson Island.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at E. J. Coutu Funeral Home, located at 680 Archibald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
