ROBERTA ANNE DUNLOP
After a brief battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta Anne Dunlop (née MacDougall). Roberta passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved sons and dear friends making jokes until her final moments.
Born in Nokomis, Saskatchewan, she spent her early years moving across the prairies, forming lasting friendships - especially in Souris, Manitoba. Winnipeg became her lifelong home. Roberta’s greatest joy was her family. She took immense pride in her sons, Drew and Derek, and in being a grandmother to Logan and Stella. She had a natural gift for connecting with people, striking up conversations almost anywhere and often leaving with a new friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, humour, and for the way she made others feel welcome.

So sorry to read this. Sincere condolences to her sons. I knew your mom many years ago. She was an amazing lady who will be lovingly missed by many. She messaged me a few months back and we had a lovely conversation, which I will cherish. - Posted by: Darlene Brown (Friend) on: May 02, 2026

Roberta and her parents were mainstays of our time in Winnipeg. Her humor, hospitality and zest for life were wonderful and always appreciated and enjoyed. We loved her and her clan and I’m very sad that her family are now missing her laughs and warmth. - Posted by: Mags Kelly (Friend) on: May 02, 2026
