It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, papa, friend, mentor and Tracey’s soulmate on Friday, May 1, 2026 with all of us by his side.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Tracey Malone; his children, Deena (Rod), Derek (Carly), Devon (Regan), Damon (Amy); Tracey’s children, Kendra (Cody), Abbey (Cole), Deaghan (Isaac); and their grandchildren, Lennyn, Cole, Wren, Alex and Robin.
Gord was a professional, confident and skilled pilot, carpenter, and father - capable of things many could only dream of. We are grateful for the values and life skills that he instilled and the experiences that he gave each of us.
Though he can no longer fly with us, we will carry on - flying together.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at The Farm in the RM of Woodlands.

So sad to hear of my buddy Gord’s passing. We first met in grade 8 (1975) and had stayed friends since. Though we did lose touch a bit recently, we caught up with each other last summer. He seemed so happy with his life back in the family home with Tracy. And getting back to the carpentry that he loved. It was so great to have a friend like Gord. Everyone wanted to be his friend. So I always felt privileged. He was always so funny and unassuming. And fun to be around. I will cherish my memories of him throughout the years. Our first apartment, trips to Mexico and Jamaica. Just hanging out. And so many parties. You will be missed my friend. My condolences to all Gord’s loved ones. So very sad. - Posted by: Sandy McInnes (Friend) on: May 07, 2026

Well I was shocked to hear the news Gord... I was just thinking about you the other day wondering how you were doing and reminiscing about our party days and sneaking away from school to the farm and you would take me flying...I shared that story with your dad one day over lunch many years ago, his jaw dropped and laughed outloud... Well I realize this news has become part of our lives these days and I pray your flying high looking down on your family...may God give you a different set of wings and I hope someday to be able to sit and chat again...to all your family and friends...my condolences Gord was an amazing friend ... - Posted by: Scott Petrowski (School friend) on: May 07, 2026
